Just one month online, and our crowdfunding project We Close the Gap<\/a><\/em> is already showing the huge commitment that exists in Swiss sport.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the first four weeks, more than CHF 53,000<\/strong> in donations was raised, backed by more than 570 supporters<\/strong>. Over 50 top Swiss athletes<\/strong> from a wide range of disciplines, from Olympic champions to young talents, have joined the initiative. More than 230 sports clubs<\/strong> across the country have already registered to send a signal. These figures show impressively how strong the solidarity in the Swiss sports community is and how much potential lies in acting together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wide media attention<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In its very first weeks, We Close the Gap<\/em> also made a big impact in the media. Numerous regional and national outlets, from major daily newspapers<\/a> and online portals<\/a> to TV and radio stations, have covered the campaign, interviewed athletes and reported on the precarious situation. This broad coverage plays a key role in bringing the threatened J+S cuts and the sports community\u2019s show of solidarity to even more people and mobilising new supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
