Hello, and thank you for being here.

My name is Alina, I’m 18 years old, and I’m a competitive sailor pursuing a lifelong dream — to become an Olympic champion. I am currently on the path to representing my sport and my journey at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Let me tell you a bit about myself.

I was born and raised in Ukraine, where I first discovered my passion for sailing. In February 2022, everything changed — the war forced my family and me to leave our home. Thanks to the kind invitation of the Swiss sailing club DRCS, we were able to relocate to Switzerland. That was three years ago. Since then, I’ve been working hard to build a new life here, both on and off the water.

I’m currently completing an apprenticeship as a Digital Business Developer at SUVA, and in every free moment, I dedicate myself to sailing. I compete in the ILCA 6 Olympic class, and my results so far reflect my dedication, discipline, and love for the sport.

Here are some of my recent achievements:

• 🏅 5th place – ISAF Youth World Championship 2024

• 🥉 3rd place – ILCA 4 World Championship U18 2023
• 🥇 1st place – ILCA 4 World Championship U16 2023
• 🥈 2nd place – ILCA 4 World Championship U18 2022

My short-term goals for 2025 include podium finishes in the U19 and U21 World and European Championships, as well as the ISAF Youth Worlds.

My long-term goal is clear:
🎯 To compete at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028.

Even though I’m alone on the boat, I can't do this alone. My journey depends on a strong and supportive team — and that includes you.
