My story

My name is Amélie and I’m a passionate Flag Football athlete, proudly representing the Swiss National Team. My biggest dream is to compete at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles – the first time Flag Football will be part of the Olympics.

I’m fully committed to this goal. Even though Flag Football isn't a professional sport (yet), I train 10 to 12 times per week – including field sessions, athletic training, and team practices – all while studying part-time. I cover most of the costs myself, because I truly believe in this journey.

2025 will be a key year for my development. I plan to compete in 5 to 6 international tournaments, which are essential to gaining experience, improving my performance, and preparing for the 2025 European Championship in Paris. Competing against top international players challenges me the most and helps me grow faster – both technically and mentally. Each tournament costs around 500–800 CHF, including travel, accommodation, and participation fees.

With your support, I’ll be able to take these crucial steps – to play against top athletes, grow as a competitor, and move closer to my Olympic goal.
