#Dragons Lugano, club fondato nel 2016, è l'unico club di pallavolo maschile del Canton Ticino (Svizzera) che ha visto crescere il numero dei suoi soci da 40 nel 2016 a 130 nel 2022. I soci, di età compresa tra da 8 a 35 anni, sono principalmente studenti e giovani professionisti formati da allenatori qualificati presso Swiss Volley.

Il club è orgoglioso di avere una squadra in Prima Lega Nazionale, supportata da un settore giovanile che comprende minivolley, U14, U16 e U18. Completano il quadro una squadra Over18 e una squadra amatoriale mista.

Per sostenere il movimento pallavolistico, #Dragons Lugano collabora attivamente con le associazioni sportive e con il Dicastero Sport di Lugano per promuovere la disciplina della pallavolo durante gli eventi sportivi, i campi multisport estivi e all'interno delle scuole del territorio luganese. Inoltre il club è attivo anche nella formazione dei marcatori regionali e degli arbitri proponendo ogni anno nuove leve da allenare. Sullo sfondo, il comitato è composto da dieci membri che lavorano con passione e sacrificio per sviluppare una crescita sportiva, economica e reputazionale che possa portare in Ticino una realtà solida, sostenibile e vincente.

Per questo motivo il club è costantemente alla ricerca di sostenitori il cui contributo sosterrà la visione del club di essere un punto di riferimento di qualità per i giovani, per le famiglie e per la comunità sportiva locale, cantonale e nazionale nella formazione dell'individuo attraverso lo sport di pallavolo guidata dai valori fondamentali di rispetto, fair play, attitudine, impegno e appartenenza.

Stiamo iniziando a raccogliere fondi per sostenere la situazione economica difficile che stiamo vivendo, anche a causa dei recenti avvenimenti accaduti a livello mondiale. Tra la pandemia e le conseguenze economiche della guerra in Ucraina, il mondo sta attraversando diverse difficoltà e anche noi nel nostro piccolo abbiamo ricevuto un duro colpo. Questa causa ci sta molto a cuore, poiché al giorno d’oggi, siamo nell’obbligo di sostenere diverse spese necessarie per continuare l’espansione del movimento giovanile che pesano sulle nostre casse e che rischiano di pregiudicare le prossime stagioni sportive della società.

#Dragons Lugano, a club founded in 2016, is the unique men's volleyball club in the canton of Ticino (Switzerland) which has seen the number of its members to grow from 40 in 2016 to 130 in 2022. The members, ranging in age from 8 to 35, are mainly students and young professionals who are trained by qualified coaches at Swiss Volley.

The club is proud of a team in the First National League, supported by a youth sector that includes minivolley, U14, U16 and U18. An Over18 team and a mixed amateur team complete the picture.

To support the volleyball movement, #Dragons Lugano actively collaborates with sports associations and with the Lugano Sports Department to promote the discipline of volleyball during sporting events, summer multisport camps and within schools in the Lugano area. In addition, the club is also active in the training of regional scorers and referees by proposing new recruits to train every year. In the background, the board is composed of ten members who work with passion and sacrifice to develop sporting, economic and reputational growth that can bring a solid, sustainable and winning reality to Ticino.

For this reason, the club is constantly looking for supporters whose contribution will support the club's vision of being a quality reference point for young people, for families and for the local, cantonal and national sports community in the formation of the individual through the sport of volleyball guided by the fundamental values of respect, fair play, attitude, commitment and belonging.

We are starting to raise funds to support the difficult economic situation that the Club are experiencing, also because of the recent events that have occurred worldwide. Between the pandemic and the economic consequences of the war in Ukraine, the world is going through various difficulties and we too have received a severe blow in our small way. This cause is very close to our hearts, since nowadays, we are obliged to incur various necessary expenses for the expansion of the youth movement that weigh on our coffers and which risk affect the next sports seasons of the Club.
