Water polo was the first Olympic team sport and requires intensive training. We are the Swiss U16 national team and consist of 25 boys from all over Switzerland. We train in our clubs and with the national team 6-8 times a week - in the pool and gym. Our dream for 2025 is to represent Switzerland at the U16 European Championships.

We are qualified for the European Championships which will take place in Slovenia (Lubljana) from 7 to 13 July 2025. At a recent training camp and tournament in August 2024, we proved that we are strong and ready with victories against teams from Hungary, Italy and Azerbaijan. However, the association cannot cover all the costs of the event and the preparation. We are therefore focussing our hopes on this crowd-funding. We need the money for a preparation camp in Sursee, the travel to Slovenia and the accomodation during the European Championships.

The aim is to raise 15,000 CHF, but already CHF 10,000 will allow us to get the planning underway. With your donation, you support us young people in our competitive sport, team spirit and dream.
