This Privacy Policy informs you about the processing of your personal data in connection with the use of our website and our services. The protection of your privacy and your data is of central importance to us, "I Believe In You AG." We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable legal data protection regulations in Switzerland (nLPD/revDSG) and the EU (GDPR).

Please note that certain data processing is necessary for the provision of our services. An objection or restriction may therefore lead to limited use of the platform.

3. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

a. Project Creators Registration is required to create a project on I Believe In You. The following data is collected:

Email address and password (stored encrypted).
Name, address, phone number, date of birth.
Bank details (for payout upon successful project financing).
Verification documents (passport or ID).
IP address and log data.

If registering as a legal entity (e.g., an association), additional information must be provided:

Name of the entity.
Website.
Verification document (e.g., statutes, excerpt from the commercial register).

Data for payment processing and identity verification is transmitted to our service provider, Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Authentication is carried out via Amazon Cognito (Amazon Web Services Inc.). Project data (title, description, biography, etc.) is displayed publicly on the website. It is at the discretion of the project creators which content they publish. This content may also be used for promotion. b. Project Supporters The following data is collected:

IP address.
Display name (freely selectable).
Name, address, phone number, date of birth.
Email address.
Payment method and amount.
Date/time of support.

Information such as address or phone number is only transmitted to project creators if necessary (e.g., for shipping rewards). Supporters have the option to create an account to simplify future support. In this case, all collected information is stored. Supports, names, and amounts are displayed publicly unless anonymity is selected. For supporters who do not wish to create an account, data is only stored until the purpose has been fulfilled. Projects can also be supported anonymously. Payments are processed via Stripe, TWINT, and PostFinance. The payment data itself is not stored by "I Believe In You."

5. Newsletter

When subscribing to our newsletter, we collect your email address and, if applicable, details about interests, postal code, and birthday. Registration occurs via consent on the I Believe In You website. The newsletter is sent via Mailjet SAS (Google Cloud Platform, Frankfurt & Saint-Ghislain). Technical data (e.g., IP address, browser, open rate) may be stored for performance measurement. You can unsubscribe at any time via a link in the newsletter. 8. Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA) to better understand how users interact with our website (e.g., through heatmaps or session recordings). Clarity collects data on user behavior, IP address (masked), browser type, and device type. Microsoft also uses this data to improve and provide its own products (e.g., Microsoft Advertising). By using our website, you agree to the collection and use of this data by Microsoft. Your personal data (surname and first name, address, date of birth, telephone number and email address) will be used by SWICA and I Believe In You to manage the projects on the platform and for marketing purposes (including contacting you for the purpose of providing insurance advice). You can prevent your data from being used for the specified purposes at any time and without providing a reason by writing to info@ibelieveinyou.ch. Data is stored only for as long as is necessary for the stated purpose or is permitted or required by law. The data will be deleted in accordance with data protection regulations once the processing purpose no longer applies or the retention period has expired. During this time, I Believe In You will take all technical and organisational measures to protect the data against unlawful and improper processing. Data subjects may exercise their rights with respect to their personal data at any time. The Swiss Data Protection Act applies. The following conditions must be met in order to trigger the SWICA Boost:

You must be of legal age.
You must be a Swiss resident.
The donation must be at least CHF 10.
You must not have triggered the SWICA Boost for any other donation (the SWICA Boost is enabled again after one year).
