ENGLISH VERSION BELOW

Hello my name is Darels Dukurs and I am 17 years old.

My biggest dream and goal is to make ice hockey my job.

I've been playing ice hockey for 10 years. Two years ago I switched to the SCL young Tigers to make my way to a professional.

Eight years ago I started in the hockey school in Riga (HK Perkons). I realized early on that I didn't want to do anything other than play ice hockey.

After six years with HK Perkons. I switched to the HS Riga. I played there for two years, then SC Langnau asked me, I decided to accept the offer.

Now I've played for the U17 elit for two years and this year is the first season with the U20 elit. In the same year, I joined the U-16 national team and have been called up again and again to this day. From then on I knew if I was going to train hard, I could work my way to a professional and make it.

But you always have to have a plan B. That's why I'm doing an apprenticeship as a Kaufman EFZ at the Feusi Sports School in Bern. The problem with this is that I / my family have to pay for the sports trade school myself, which, in addition to ice hockey, raises additional costs.

The costs for the school / training look like this:

1st - 2nd semester: CHF 3500 per quarter

3rd - 4th semester: CHF 3750 per quarter

5th - 6th semester: CHF 2850 per quarter

7th - 8th semester: CHF 475 per quarter
